✨ What is KushPets?
KushPets gives your players a personal cosmetic companion that follows them around. Open a clean menu, pick a pet, name it, colour its name with gradients, give it a particle trail, and watch it level up and unlock abilities — all through intuitive GUIs. No config editing required to get started.

Features
- 38 pets out of the box — 26 mobs (Wolf, Cat, Fox, Parrot, Axolotl, Bee, Allay, Panda, Horse, Camel, Llama, Sniffer, Enderman, Blaze…) plus 12 floating balloon pets in every colour
- Pet progression — every pet can level up from time active, walking, mob kills or mining; each level can grant potion effects, a melee damage multiplier, run commands and more
- Abilities for every pet — all 38 default pets ship with themed abilities that grow as they level (Fox → Speed + Night Vision, Blaze → Fire Resistance + Strength + bonus damage, and more), fully editable per pet
- Level Track GUI — right-click any pet in the menu to see its full level track: XP costs and rewards at a glance, with reached levels highlighted. Left-click still summons instantly
- Balloon pets — floating custom heads that bob along above the player on a real lead/rope from their hand, tethered to their own type: balloon config
- Make your own pets — every pet is defined in pets.yml; copy a block, pick any mob (or a balloon texture), set a name/icon/texture/permission/abilities, /petsadmin reload — no coding required
- Clean GUI menu — every pet shown as a textured mob head with a live level/XP progress bar, marking what's unlocked
- Smooth follower AI — pets path to their owner and teleport back if they fall behind
- Rename your pet — via the menu (type in chat) or /pets rename <name>
- Name Colour picker — 16 solid colours + 8 hex gradient colorways (Rainbow, Fire, Ocean, Galaxy, Neon…) that auto-recolour the whole name
- Multi-line names (donator perk) — grant ranks extra name lines via kushpets.namelines.<n>; a per-line editor GUI floats the name as a hologram above the pet
- Particle trail picker — choose from 12 particle effects per player
- Per-player unlocks — gate pets by permission or grant them with a command
- Harmless & tidy — pets take no damage, are never targeted, and clean up on logout (no duplicates)
- Pet Master NPC (optional) — spawn a clickable NPC at spawn that opens the menu (requires Citizens)
- Fully configurable text — every chat message (messages.yml) and all GUI titles, item names and lore (gui.yml) are editable, with placeholders
- bStats metrics — optional, opt-out anonymous usage stats
- Fully configurable — messages, colours, follow distances, particles and progression all in config
