Ruined portals were introduced into the game in a recent update. These structures are generated randomly in your world and may contain a loot chest nearby. As the name suggests, No Ruined Nether Portals Mod alters the world generation settings in such a way that ruined portals no longer generate in your world. This only affects ruined portals in chunks that are generated with this mod installed. Already generated ruined portals will not be affected. If you do not want ruined portals generated in your world for whatever reason, this mod is the way to go.
