Sturdy Trees Mod aims to make the early game process of obtaining wood slightly more difficult. In the vanilla game, you could just load up a new world, spawn in, walk up to a tree and use your hand to obtain your first log. But with this mod installed, this simple process is slightly more complicated. When you try to chop a tree using your hand, it can only be broken layer by layer. Breaking a single piece of log is now a 5-6 step process.
