Minecraft Mod Updater

by jonafanho · on Modrinth

Which Minecraft do you have?

Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Fabric only.

⬇ Download for 1.19–1.19.3⬇ Download for 1.18–1.18.2⬇ Download for 1.17–1.17.1⬇ Download for 1.16.2–1.16.5
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

This project has been discontinued in favour of other Minecraft mod managers, such as Ferium. If you would like to take over the GitHub project, please let me know.

This page will still be available but will no longer be updated.

First Launch

  1. Backup your existing mods
  2. Install this mod
  3. At the Minecraft home screen, click on the "Mods" button
  4. Click on the square button at the top right (with the settings icon)
  5. Add mods either by searching for them, pasting in a URL, or adding them locally to the mods-local folder
  6. Click the "Relaunch Minecraft" button

Future Launches

Start Minecraft normally and watch the mods automatically update! Required dependencies are automatically downloaded as well.

Important Notes

The mods folder will be cleared on each run! If you want to add your own jar files, put them in the mods-local folder instead. To edit the config file directly or to host a server modpack, see this guide.
