Berk Origins

Originally this datapack was made for my modpack - Together we map the World, go check it out! It has even MORE features available than mod has in this version. What exactly you may ask? Improved farlander origin, dragon manual, dragon griefing prevention and more!

Berk Origins - is a datapack for origins, packed as mod, made to work with mods like isle of berk, archipelago additions, iob variant loader and Stego's dragons

Dependencies:

• Apathy (needs a special config to be installed separately, otherwise passive dragons won't work in dragonguard origin)
• Isle of berk variant loader
• Archipelago Additions
• Isle of Berk
• Origins
• Stego's Dragons

Link to the config that has to be installed alongside apathy mod. Put it into config folder. Otherwise Dragonguard buff won't work

It adds 5 different origins, a role to pick up, with unique abilities.

List of origins and their abilities:

• Farlander - no tribe (no abilities, made for people who want to play as their originsl httyd characters)
• Berserker - part of Berserker tribe. keep weapon upon death and enters rage mode when health is lower than 50%
• Berk Rioter - former part of Hooligans tribe, who left Hiccup's side after Hidden World. Speed of rideable dragons is increased
• Dragonguard - part of defenders of the wing tribe, dragons become passive and you don't need to have special effects to tame them, but they fly slower
• Dragon hunter - player start with dragon hunter bow, dragonproof plate leggings, snow wraith tooth and gets 2 poisonous arrows every day upon waking up. Some dragons become untamable at adult age, all dragon hunters become passive

Other features:

Adds traits, mood and hunger to dragons!

List of traits:

• Careless - lower hp but has poison resistance
• Clumsy - additional knockback when hitting mobs
• Fervent - sets enemies on fire upon biting
• Healthy - plus additional health
• Like Liquid - becomes invisible in water
• Nitwit - no additional buffs
• Algae eater - dragon glows as if it was flightmare
• Stalker - dragon becomes invisible at night if ridden by player

You can see what trait your dragon got by using amethyst shard on it

Hunger is restored with cod, salmon and tropical fish. If it reaches 0, don't worry, your dragon won't get harmed but it's mood level will start decrease

Mood can be restored with dragon nip, if it's more than 75% dragon will become happy and will fly with higher speed. If mood is lower than 25%, it will fly slower. Mood can be indicated with particles around dragon's head. Black ash means dragon is sad, it's mood is less than 25%. Green particles means that dragon's mood level is greater than 50%. If you see golden particles - the dragon is happy

You are able to drop animals off your dragon's back if it carries them by using G key (origins primary active key, configurable)

tamed stingers are able to run on top of water!

Tidal class dragons now swim underwater as if they were flying in air

Makes flightmares and fireworms glow!

Some dragons are paintable! (Huge thanks to doomie5987 on discord who allowed me to use their racing stripes textures for dragons!)

To apply paint on dragon's skin use any vanilla minecrafy dye (except for grey and light grey. You can't paint night fury in black dye)

To wash it off, use wet sponge

Custom dragon variants are not supported for dyeing
