THE ONLY SHADER COMPATIBLE IS ATMOSPHERIC SHADERS. Reason: not because I wanted it that way, but because it is the only shader I personally made compatibility for so far.
There are other shader patches available on my Discord server, but those were not made by me.
This project will introduce a compatibility bridge between Oculus and SimpleClouds shader systems.
Only shaders that I explicitly adapt will function with it. You will not be able to use arbitrary shaders.
❓ Does this work with Project Atmosphere?
Absolutely.
❓ Can you request support for a specific shader?
Possibly. To add compatibility, both conditions must be met:
- The shader’s source code must be publicly available.
- I must have the legal right to republish the modified version.
This means shaders like SEUS cannot be supported.
❓ Does this modify Oculus’ code?
Yes and no.
The mod applies Mixins to Oculus at runtime to create the compatibility layer, but no Oculus code is bundled or redistributed.
You still need to install Oculus separately for this mod to work.
