Rail Bridges Mod adds a special rail block that you can place over empty air. This rail supports itself and works just like a normal rail, letting you build bridges for your minecarts. You cannot place it on top of a solid block, and you have to sneak to walk across it. The bridge rail can make slopes but does not create corners.
