Melody Mod (26.2, 1.21.1) – Hear New Music in Your Game

Melody Mod gives other mods a way to play background music using OpenAL. This system works separately from Minecraft’s own sound engine, allowing for more control over audio. This is a library mod, so it does nothing by itself and is only needed if another mod requires it.

Features:

• Lets other mods load audio files from different places, including from the web.
• Supports OGG and WAV audio files right away.
• Can be expanded to support other audio file types.
• Plays 2D audio, which is perfect for background music, but not for sounds that come from a specific direction.
