Cheaper Maps Mod is a lightweight Minecraft data pack or mod that simplifies the crafting recipe for maps, making exploration more accessible-especially early in the game.
Features:
Simplified Map Crafting:
Instead of using a compass, you can craft a map using:
- 8 paper + 1 black dye or ink sac
- This makes maps cheaper and easier to obtain, especially before you have redstone or iron.
Quick Exploration:
- Ideal for speedrunners, explorers, or players who want to skip the hassle of crafting a compass.
- Encourages early-game mapping and navigation.
