I love the look of the sniffer egg, but unfortunately there is no way to prevent them from hatching, so I made a mod to offer that option!
By cooking a sniffer egg in a furnace, you can hard boil them, allowing you to place it without it spawning a baby!
And before you ask- no, you cannot eat it...
