Tiny Soldiers Mod

A Minecraft mod that brings tiny soldiers made of Minecraft's blocks, to life! Create armies of miniature warriors that fight each other with weapons and armor. [Based on the Clay Soldiers Mod by SanAndreaP]

• Tiny soldiers that fight other tiny soldiers of different materials
• Over 100 Material types to pit against each other

🐎 Tiny Horses

• Mountable horses for your soldiers

⚔️ Give Soldiers Equipment

• Weapons: Sticks, swords, bows, crossbows, tridents, maces, axes, (and spears 1.21.11+)
• Armor: Leather, chainmail, (copper 1.21.11+), iron, gold, diamond, and netherite chest plates
• Material conversion: Soldiers pick up items and convert them to equipment
  • stick + shears/flint -> sharpened stick
  • stone/cobblestone: -> stone sword
  • any wooden planks: -> wooden sword
  • leather -> leather chestplate
  • copper ingot -> copper chestplate/sword (1.21.11+)
  • iron ingot -> iron chestplate/sword
  • gold ingot -> gold chestplate/sword
  • diamond -> diamond chestplate/sword
  • netherite ingot -> netherite chestplate/sword
  • soldiers will randomly choose to make a sword or a chestplate
  • if a soldier is holding a stick, they may also make a spear out of ingots (1.21.11+)

🎯 How to Play

Basic Usage

1. Craft soldiers using a clay ball and a block of some material
2. Craft empty capsules using a glass block, a glass bottle, or a glass pane
3. Craft soldier capsules using empty capsules and crafted soldiers
4. Throw capsules to spawn soldiers
5. Watch them fight based on their materials
6. Give them weapons by dropping items nearby
7. Craft tiny horses with a clay ball and a saddle

Combat

• Soldiers automatically target enemies with different materials
• They pick up weapons and armor from the ground
• Ranged weapons work at distance, melee up close
• Soldiers will mount nearby tiny horses

Materials

There are over 100 materials to choose from so you can pick soldiers that look like your favorite minecraft blocks Use command: /tinysoldiers list materials to show all registered materials

 

🎮 Admin Commands

All commands require operator level 2 (/op username)

Clear Commands

• /tinysoldiers clear all - Remove all entities
• /tinysoldiers clear soldiers - Remove only soldiers
• /tinysoldiers clear horses - Remove only horses
• /tinysoldiers clear only <material> - Remove entities with specific material
• /tinysoldiers clear all_but <material> - Remove all except specific material

Count Commands

• /tinysoldiers count all - Count all entities
• /tinysoldiers count soldiers - Count soldiers
• /tinysoldiers count horses - Count horses
• /tinysoldiers count only <material> - Count specific material
• /tinysoldiers count all_but <material> - Count without specific material

Rain Commands (Fun!)

• /tinysoldiers rain <player> <command> - Rain capsules on player
• /tinysoldiers rain <x y z> <command> - Rain capsules on coordinates

Rain Options:

• Material names (auto-suggested from registry)
• Colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple
• rainbow - Random mix of all colors
• all - All registered materials

Utility Commands

• /tinysoldiers list materials - Show all registered materials

Steps

1. Use Fabric Installer to download and install Fabric API and Fabric Loader
2. Download the Fabric API .jar file matching your chosen minecraft + tinysoldiers patch version
3. Download Tiny Soldiers mod
4. Place Tiny Soldiers mod in your mods folder alongside the Fabric API .jar file
5. Launch Minecraft with Fabric profile

NeoForge

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21.5 - 1.21.11
• NeoForge Installer

Steps

1. Use NeoForge Installer to download and install NeoForge API and Loader
2. Download Tiny Soldiers mod
3. Place Tiny Soldiers mod in your mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft with NeoForge profile

 

Bonus/Extras:

You can make the tiny soldiers "talk" with the command /tinysoldiers config speech enable and you can disable it in a similar way. Their "language" was inspired by an episode of Black Mirror. IYKYK :)

An experimental ranking system for soldiers can be enabled in the config. Soldiers will gain xp on kills and gain ranks based on xp. Each rank grants additional stat boosts, making high ranking soldiers powerful combatants. (Still needs balancing, and a way to actually track their rank progress in game)
