MendingRemover is a minimalist utility mod for Minecraft that completely removes the Mending enchantment from the game.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

MendingRemover is a minimalist utility mod for Minecraft that completely removes the Mending enchantment from the game.

🧱 What it does:
- Mending no longer appears on enchanted books or loot.
- Mending cannot be obtained via enchanting tables, trades, or anvils.
- Existing Mending items in worlds will have the enchantment stripped on load.
- New: Config option to allow or disable Mending in chest loot
- When enabled, Mending becomes a rare exploration reward
- Villagers will still not trade Mending
A perfect companion for survival-focused, hardcore, or progression-based modpacks where resource management matters again.
