Unified Combat Mod (1.20.1) – Cancel Spells And Attacks To Roll Away

Unified Combat Mod adds compatibility for Iron’s Spells and Spellbooks, Better Combat, and Combat Roll. It changes how spell casting, dodging, and weapon attacks interact with each other. You can cancel a magic spell by rolling out of the way. It also stops your weapon swings if you need to dodge an enemy attack quickly. This system adds clear rules to your fights so you do not accidentally cast a spell when you want to run away. You get full control over your character movements during intense battles.

Features:

• Instant Cast Cancel: Rolling makes your character stop casting a spell right away.
• Roll Lock: You can choose to block dodging completely while you prepare a magic attack.
• Spell Whitelist: Certain magic attacks like Poison Arrow let you move and dodge freely.
• Roll Queue: If you press the dodge button right before a spell finishes, your character rolls automatically after the magic shoots out.
• Attack Cancel: Rolling stops your current weapon swing so you can dodge quickly.
• Blocked Roll Warnings: The game shows a message and plays a sound if you try to dodge when you are not allowed to.
• Mana Penalty: Canceling a spell by dodging takes away some of your mana points.
• Spell Cooldown: You must wait a short time before casting the same magic again if you cancel it.
• Magic Backlash: Stopping a spell hurts you based on its type, like catching on fire from a fire spell or getting slow from an ice spell.
• Dodge Particles: You leave a trail of magic dust behind you when you cancel a spell with a roll.
