This mod removes the attack cooldown. With the cooldown completely eliminated, the damage delay is also removed, similar to the old 1.8 version. This allows you to take damage as Minecraft handles it, and some damage behaviors rely on this functionality to work correctly, particularly those that involve a damage delay. These behaviors are listed in the configuration file, where you can enable or disable any feature as needed.
