CobbleZones is a Fabric 1.21.1 side mod for Cobblemon that lets you create fully custom encounter zones in the world.
CobbleZones lets you define areas where walking through specific terrain or blocks can trigger direct wild Pokemon battles. It is built for map makers, server admins, and Cobblemon creators who want tighter control over where encounters happen, what can appear, and how each area feels.
Features:
- Zone wand for selecting Pos1 and Pos2 in-game
- Visual zone previews and saved-zone outlines while using the wand
- Full in-game zone editor with fast zone management
- Per-zone Pokemon pools with rarity categories, forms, levels, weather, and time settings
- Trigger block support for blocks and fluids
- Direct battle encounters
- Run-away cleanup so managed encounter Pokemon poof away properly
- Per-zone titles, effects, messages, and encounter settings
- One config file per zone for easy editing and organization
- Default settings templates for quickly creating new zones
Why use CobbleZones? CobbleZones makes encounter design much more controlled and much more immersive. You can create grass routes, caves, lakes, ruins, boss areas, or fully custom RPG-style maps where every zone has its own encounter rules. It works well for adventure maps, servers, progression-based regions, and curated Cobblemon experiences where spawn control really matters.
