Axolotls are one of the newest aquatic mobs added to the game. They are also arguably the cutest. In the vanilla game, you can breed two adult axolotls by feeding them buckets of tropical fish. But this is difficult, since you will have to catch underwater tropical fishes using buckets by hand. This can be tiresome and time consuming. Breed Axolotl With Tropical Fish Item Mod is to save you some trouble. With this mod installed, you can breed adult axolotls using regular tropical fish that you caught using a fishing rod, instead of it being in a bucket. This will help save you a lot of time and effort.
