Cobblemobs is a mod that replaces vanilla Minecraft mobs with Pokemon.

The Cobblemobs are feral pokemon that are not fit for capture or training. You can not interact with them like normal pokemon, and should treat them like vanilla mobs.

In other words, this mod is just a visual client-side change. Creepers (now Electrodes) will still chase you and explode, zombies (now Parasects) will still attack you and break down doors, etc etc.

This does not affect spawns or behaviours in any way. Because of that, it has 100% compatibiity with any mods that make changes to vanilla mobs.

The goal for this mod is immersion by seamlessly replacing mobs with Pokemon that make sense from a visual, behavior, and/or lore standpoint. Some vanilla mobs have obvious candidates for appropriate Pokemon equivalents, while some do not. I'll be doing my best to choose Pokemon that are a good fit.

This mod is a work in progess. The following features are planned but unimplemented:

• More replacements
• Particle effects and render layers to help differentiate from regular Pokemon
• Adding Pokemon crys
• Support for kotlin animations, such as the ones used by some quadrupeds
