Supported Versions:
Shulker Box Utils is a client-side Fabric mod that adds several quality-of-life improvements for shulker boxes, making it easier to manage and identify their contents at a glance.
Features:
- Floating World Icon: A small item icon floats above every placed shulker box in the world, showing the first item (or uniform item type) inside. No need to open the box just to remember what's in it.
- Inventory Badge: When a shulker box sits in your inventory, hotbar or chest, a miniature item icon is rendered on top of it so you can instantly identify its contents without hovering.
- Fill Indicator Bar: A colored bar (green → red) appears on shulker boxes in your inventory, indicating how full the box is, similar to a durability bar.
- Contents Preview Tooltip: Hovering over a shulker box in your inventory shows a full 9×3 grid tooltip of everything inside, including item counts and enchantment glints, exactly as it would look if you opened it.
Settings (configurable via keybind):
- Toggle each feature on or off individually
- Choose whether the world icon and badge show only when all items are the same type, or always show the first item
- All settings are saved per world
