G1axInventoryScale

Scale inventory screens independently from Minecraft's GUI scale.

Minecraft only lets you change the size of the entire interface. If you want larger chests but don't want oversized chat, hotbar, or menus, you're out of luck.

G1axInventoryScale solves that by scaling inventory and container screens separately while leaving the rest of the game's UI untouched.

The mod is completely client-side, requires no server installation, and works anywhere Fabric mods are supported.

Features

Supported Screens

The container scale affects almost every screen that extends Minecraft's handled screen system, including:

Configuration

Container Scale

Controls the size of inventory and container screens.

Range:

0.5x → 8.0x

Default:

1.0x

Very large values can make interfaces extend beyond your monitor. If that happens, simply lower the scale.

Tooltip Scale

Controls the size of item tooltips.

Range:

0.5x → 2.0x

Default:

1.0x

Configuration is saved automatically to:

.minecraft/config/g1axinventoryscale.json

Requirements

Optional:

Compatibility

Blur

Background blur effects continue to render correctly while container scaling is enabled.

Controlify

Virtual cursor positioning is adjusted automatically so controller navigation remains accurate.

If you discover a compatibility issue with another mod, feel free to open an issue.

Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader.
  2. Install Fabric API.
  3. Install YACL.
  4. Place all downloaded .jar files inside your .minecraft/mods folder.
  5. Launch Minecraft.

Why isn't the configuration screen showing?
