Minecraft allows you to craft fences and fence gates using all of the wood variants in the game, including the Nether wood variants. But what if you wanted more? If you want more fence and fence gate variants in the game, Metal Fences Mod is for you. As the name suggests, this mod introduces iron and copper variant fences and fence gates. Iron fence gates can only be opened/closed using redstone signals, similar to iron doors and trapdoors. Copper fences and fence gates oxidize over time, just like copper blocks. You can even wax them to pause their oxidation.
