How do I install QuitGame?

Install the matching mod loader (Forge, Fabric or NeoForge) for your Minecraft version. Download the .jar. Put it in the .minecraft/mods folder and launch that loader profile. Opens on Modrinth — not every file is mirrored on our own servers.

What Minecraft version does QuitGame work with?

The listing gives Minecraft 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2. This is the version stated by the author or source site, not something we verified ourselves.

Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

I don't know my version or loader

Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.

No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

QuitGame

Every once in a while we would go "Hm I should play Minecraft".

But think about it more, do you really want to play?
How about the infinite amount of things you can do during this period?
What about your computer, can it really handle Minecraft and does it like you playing Minecraft?
Do you simply had enough of poisonous potato?

Introducing a way to not play Minecraft:

This mod achieves it's goal by removing all button except the Quit Game button, allowing you to not play Minecraft!

"Um actually..."
Don't worry! Whether you are indecisive or you crave for more games, there's something for you as well!
If you can re-arrange the letter in the splash text to start with start, menu, play or poison, you get to be in the game, how incredible.

For gamers, that is 65% more game per game! (Don't get the right letter? Better luck next time!)
