The purpose of this mod is to prevent players from abusing the respawn mechanic to reset hunger and health. Now, players revive with 1 HP and their previous hunger level (starting from version 1.1, a 3-point penalty is applied). To prevent immediate starvation upon respawning (especially if you die with 0 hunger), a 10-minute “Brutally Respawned” effect is added.
This mod is fully customizable via YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) — you can adjust health, hunger points, or effect duration. However, I recommend playing with the default settings first to truly experience the mod's vision.
