Features:
This mod improves item name consistency when using different language settings, especially when searching items in tools like JEI.
- Language Handling
- Normally, changing the game language may cause item names to appear differently
- This can make searching items difficult, as some names may exist only in English
- This mod solves the issue by unifying item names in a single language
- Item Name Display
- Item names are always shown in English, regardless of the selected game language
- Other text, such as GUIs and manuals, will still use your selected language if translations exist
- If available, the localized item name is shown on the second line of the tooltip
Configuration:
replaceItemNames(default:true)- If enabled, item names are always replaced with the additional language
- The default additional language is English
additionalLanguage(default:en_us)- Sets the additional language used for item names
dispBothLanguagesOnTooltip(default:true)- Displays item names in both languages in the item tooltip
dispBothLanguagesOnWaila(default:true)- Displays item names in both languages in Waila tooltips
