In classic regional mythology and folktales, mountains are often depicted as dangerous places full of gods and monsters. In Minecraft, they are generally quite safe. Hair Trolls changes this by adding tanky, monstrous trolls that spawn in the overworld above y:120. Currently, they aren't particularly useful, although they drop a fair amount of experience and the occasional emerald. In the future, their hair will be able to create carpets, armor, and possibly other items.
