Left Forgotten

Once glory days of Minecraft, now buried beneath the void. Minecraft Alpha is still there, but left and abandoned ages ago.

Left Forgotten

Left to fade away into distant memories

Competitor to Alpha Below/The World Below
Based on a tweet by @SlimerSlimy and Minecraft Alpha 1.1.2_01 (the actual version, not the fangame)

Why?

Mainly just to play around with parts of True End's code for soon coming Fabric+Forge port (and because I was bored)

Description

Left Forgotten adds a Alpha-like dimension accessible by blowing a hole in Overworld's bedrock layer wherever there is Brittle Bedrock.
It is dark and abandoned, untouched in years and shadowed by the overworld above with no mobs or anything alive other than some vegetation.

This is not a horror mod, but rather a adventure and decoration mod. Just plain old Minecraft Alpha 1.1.2_01 with a few remnants of player activity from many years ago.

Features

Dependencies and Mod Compatibility

REQUIRES

Fabric - Fabric API, Architectury API
Forge - Architectury API

RECOMMENDS

Polymorph, LambDynamicLights

BROKEN BUT PLAYABLE

Big Globe
*Entering and leaving works fine. The Brittle Bedrock though? It can't even generate at Big Globe's bedrock layer to give the player easier access to this mod's content.

INCOMPATIBLE

True End
*Due to similar codebases, as both were partially or fully made by JustMili.

When newer Minecraft versions?

With version 1.1.x Left Forgotten will update from Fabric+Forge 1.20.1 to:

REMEMBER! MOD DEVELOPMENT TAKES TIME! :D

How long will this be kept updated?

Probably for very long like my other projects.
