Create: Deco Dimmable Cage Lamps (Create: DDCL)
Have you ever used Create: Deco cage lamps? They are a very good decoration block for your builds. However, i wanted to use them as night safety lamps or as low light level signal lamps in my factories. So i created this mod for doing so.
You can adjust the light level by varying the redstone power input (which you can do with comparators or i also suggest using the sequenced pulse generator from Create: Connected).
Content
The mod adds the following dimmable lamp version materials in red, blue, green and yellow colors:
- Andesite
- Brass
- Copper (also old create 0.5.1 version)
- Industrial Iron
- Iron
- Zinc
- Gold (not in Create: Deco anymore)
- Netherite (not in Create: Deco anymore)
All the lamps can be obviously used as normal Create: Deco lamps since if you fully power them, their behaviour is the same as normal ones.
The netherite lamps can be crafted with industrial iron ones, i know that this crafting doesn't make sense, but if you want to use the netherite lamps you have to waste one ingot per lamp, and i don't think it's good, so i added this crafting anyway.
The mod also offers two inventory orders for lamps: by-color and by-material, see configs.
I suggest EMI or JEI for the craftings.
Euphoria Patches Compat
The mod is currently added to Euphoria Patches, but only works from version 1.0.3 and higher. I removed the old versions since those are deprecated and it was making the euphoria files a big mess.
The colored lights also work with the lower light levels, so you can spice up your builds with shaders!
Starting from version 1.0.1 this mod now requires Create: Deco and Create!
Important: this mod REUSES some of the deco assets, which should be allowed by their license.
