Invincible Pets
This mod adds a survival-friendly, vanilla-style way to protect your pets (and other animals) from all types of damage while maintaining a balanced gameplay experience.
It uses enchanted golden apples to apply invulnerability to animals. Milk buckets can be used to remove the effect.
While invulnerable, wolves and axolotl will no longer attack passive or hostile mobs, even to defend the player! This ensures you don't have an overpowered super companion at your side during battle.
Requires Fabric API
How To Use
Feed any tamed pet an enchanted golden apple. The animal will glow momentarily and emit a sound effect if the invulnerability was successfully applied.
You can also apply the effect to most other animal mobs by naming them with a nametag first.
Right-click the animal with a milk bucket to remove their invulnerability.
