Proper Fletching
Proper Fletching gives the fletching table real functionality in vanilla-style gameplay.
Instead of being mostly decorative, the fletching table can now be used to craft tipped arrows using arrows and potions — no crafting table clutter, no custom items, just a clean and intuitive interface.
✨ Features
- Adds a custom fletching table interface
- Combine arrows + potions to create tipped arrows
- Supports:
- Regular potions
- Splash potions
- Lingering potions
- Uses vanilla tipped arrows (no duplicates or replacements)
- Returns empty glass bottles when using potion bottles
- Vanilla-friendly and lightweight
🏹 How It Works
- Open a Fletching Table
- Insert:
- Arrows in the top slot
- Potion in the bottom slot
- Take the tipped arrows from the output slot
Output Amount
- Regular potion → up to 32 tipped arrows
- Splash or lingering potion → up to 16 tipped arrows
The potion’s effects are transferred directly to the arrows.
Potion Bottles work on up to 32 arrows at once, returning an empty bottle
Splash Potions work on up to 16 arrows and are used up when crafted
Lingering Potions work the same way as splash potions
⚙️ Compatibility
- Designed for vanilla-style progression
- No recipe conflicts
- Works alongside other mods that don’t replace the fletching table
- Server-side safe (clients only need the mod for the UI)
