PeteMC's Contagion Mod (26.1.2, 1.20.1) – A Zombie Infection

PeteMC’s Contagion Mod adds functionality that Zombies can infect players. Zombie attacks carry a chance of infection, mitigated by armor, with fatal consequences if untreated. Players can craft items like Gold Streaked Zombie Flesh and brew cure potions to counteract the infection.

Features:

• Zombie attacks have an 80% chance of causing infection, reduced by up to 60% with full Netherite armor.
• Contagious Flesh drops from Zombies with a 5% chance and can be cooked to create Heated Zombie Flesh.
• Heated Zombie Flesh combines with Gold Ingots to craft Gold Streaked Zombie Flesh, which resets the infection timer.
• Brewing Gold Streaked Zombie Flesh with an Awkward Potion creates The Cure to remove the infection.
• Redstone enhances The Cure, extending its duration into Cure Potion II, lasting three times longer.
