Better Minecarts

This minecraft mod links up minecarts to form a train-like system.

THIS IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT AND KINDA BROKEN IN SOME WAYS!!

How To Use

• Place down two minecarts (any type) one block apart from each other on rail blocks (any type).
• Take a chain in your hand and right click on both minecarts.
• Repeat the process for a longer train by connecting all minecarts to the ones in front of or behind them.
• They will now move together!
• If you wish to unlink a minecart, shift and attack the minecart once, giving you a chain and unlinking it. Alternatively, breaking (no shifting required) a linked minecart will also drop a chain and unlink it.

• Unlink minecarts by sneaking/attacking or unloading
• Sync movement between linked minecarts
• Limit links to 2 per cart, 1 block distance
• Disable syncing near corners

• Basic linked sync movement
• Fix corner derailing
• Fix unlikability of more than two minecarts
• Fix issue of being able to sit in furnace/chest/etc minecarts
• Fix issue of being unable to use furnace/chest/etc minecarts
• Only decrease chain count from inventory when in survival, not creative
• Fix leader carts going inside blocks on rail
• When a minecart is derailed, it unlinks
• Fix unlinkability of chests to furnaces or other types
• Cap the total train size
• Minecarts remain linked even after leaving and rejoining game
• A rendering of a chain between two linked minecarts
• When a minecart that is linked is broken or shift attacked once, a chain is dropped and unlinked
