Things Added As of 1.2.0 and Before Experimental Features End Update Toggles Phantasmic Biome Culling Settings World Generation Features Monster Rooms

The Monster Room feature now uses the same block placement as ores do! The chest loot, spawner mob data, and trial spawner loot for both ominous and normal config is configurable via datapacks in this feature!

Nether Overworld Biomes Overworld Aquapuranda Forests

Aquapuranda Forests generate naturally randomly replacing ocean biomes of the respective type, they add new biome water color based blocks to the game, and an all new woodset as well.

Frostbitten Caverns

Frostbitten Caverns will only generate in the overworld, they generate at freezing temps, almost always replacing dripstone caves, they feature icicles and the new ice sheet block.

Redstonic Caves

Redstonic Caves will only generate in the overworld, they generate with roughly the same noise values as dripstone caves, but lower into the world. With the use of Create, they can be crushed into redstone dust! There are two new blocks in this version for this biome: Redstonic, and Pointed Redstonic.

Fungal Caves

Fungal Caves will only generate in the overworld, they will generate in the lower depths of the world, they feature the all new Glowshroom, Glowmoss, Hanging Glowmoss, and Glowmoss Carpets!

Voltaic Hollows

Voltaic Hollows will only generate in the overworld. This biome is the new most dangerous biome to traverse, inspired by the idea of electrical ruins. It introduces a new form of redstone called "Stormvein." Stormveins take a max charge from a block tag (any block in the block tag will give it a charge of 30) and use that to determine how much damage and how far it can reach to hit its target — the distance also plays into the amount of damage it deals.

Amethyst Caves

A new cave biome filled with amethyst formations.

Nether Metallic Forest

Metallic Forests are a rare Nether biome that generates replacing either Warped Forest or Crimson Forests. They generate Metallic Bamboo, which can be smelted down into a nugget of the respective material.

Pyrolized Wastes

Pyrolized Wastes are a new Nether biome that generates replacing the Nether Wastes spawning conditions when the weirdness value is at a certain point.

Pyrolized Forest

Pyrolized Forests are a new Nether biome that generates replacing the Metallic Forest spawning conditions when the weirdness value is at a certain point.

Blazing Forest

Blazing Forests are a new Nether biome that generates replacing either Warped Forests' or Crimson Forests' spawning conditions when the weirdness value is at a certain point.

Frozen Valley

Frozen Valleys are a new Nether biome that generates replacing the Soul Sand Valley spawning conditions when the weirdness value is at a certain point.

The End Phantasmic Biomes

The Phantasmic End biome family relies on light to make blocks visible. Be careful when traversing the islands.

Hybernatic Biomes

The Hybernatic biome is a new biome family for The End, featuring Hybernatic Crystaline formations, and the all new Hybernatus wood set.

Blocks Natural Woods Azalea

The all new Azalea wood type, acts like normal wood, but the color is determined by the biome's grass color.

Aquanda

The all new Aquanda wood type, acts like nether wood, but the color is determined by the biome's water color.

Ebony

The all new Ebony wood type is a new black wood type. It doesn't burn since it is found in the Nether, in the Blazing Forest Biome.

Hybernatus

The all new Hybernatus wood type, A Rich Purple Wood, part of the Hybernatic biome family.

Saplings Building Bricks Toggleable Life Tokens Voltaic Hollows Generation

Allows you to toggle whether the Voltaic Hollows biome should generate in the world. Enabled by default.

This enchantment allows the player's armor to act like wolf armor — it absorbs the damage dealt to a random armor piece with the enchantment on into the armor's durability. It stops at around 10% durability so the player has the chance to mend the armor.

Bypassed by:

Regeneration

Gives the Regeneration effect indefinitely with an amplifier corresponding to the enchantment level.

Sculk Speed Veil Sight (Creative-only)

Allows the wearer to see any invisible entity as though it were fully visible, including Veil mobs. Also prevents Endermen and their variants from becoming aggressive when the player looks at their face.

Tough Breaker

Increases mining speed against blocks of Obsidian toughness or higher. At max level (V), these blocks mine at roughly the same speed as Stone.

Smelting Touch

Automatically smelts broken blocks as they are mined. Certain blocks that normally drop nothing extra, such as Ancient Debris, become compatible with Fortune, allowing them to drop more when both enchantments are applied. XP is dropped based on the smelted item obtained rather than the raw block.

Water Breathing

When applied to a helmet, grants the same water breathing effect as a Turtle Shell helmet.

Curse of Sacrification New Mobs Colored Slimes

Colored Slimes are a cosmetic variant of the regular slime. They behave identically to normal slimes and have no unique mechanics.

Aquanda Slime

The Aquanda Slime spawns exclusively in the Aquapuranda Forest biomes. Due to their ability to leap through water, they are exceptionally powerful jumpers on land as well. It is advised to engage them in water, where their jump advantage is nullified.

Zombie Wolf

Zombie Wolves are an undead wolf variant. They are capable of wearing Wolf Armor just like a regular wolf, and have a very low chance to spawn already equipped with it.

Veil Stalker (WIP)

The Veil Stalker can shift its opacity based on the surrounding light level. When it becomes fully visible, it grows significantly more aggressive. It will also target any mob not of its family that has the Glowing effect applied.

Veil Wraith (WIP)

The Veil Wraith can shift its opacity based on the surrounding light level, similar to the Veil Stalker. It otherwise behaves much like an Enderman.
