This mod adds a new cave biome, 5 mobs and 8 types of trees across the world. (More biomes and mobs upcoming!)

Biomes

Spore Forest

The spore forest is a mysterious and treacherous biome found most commonly under birch and dark forests. Two new trees, the panther cap and ink cap mushrooms grow here providing a valuable source of white and black planks. The forest floor is made from mud and hyphae, most fungi that grow here enjoy darkness rather than light.

Puffball

This fungus grows across the forest's floor, when touched by mobs they release a cloud of spores that poisons mobs. After doing this they must grow all the way back to maturity before being able to release another spore cloud. Breaking a puffball with your fist at full maturity allows you to collect their spores.

Lobster mushroom

This is not actually its own mushroom, lobster mushrooms are brown mushrooms that have been overtaken by a parasitic mold. Brown mushrooms that are near a lobster mushroom will be converted slowly, in darkness.

Spore hobbler

Spiders within the spore forest can be overtaken by mold and turned into this agressive zombie-like husk. They roam in packs and attack other spiders they encounter.

Scorpion

Large arachnids found in deserts, savannas and badlands where it is dark. They can inflict Fragility with their venom, which makes you more vulnerable to damage. When killed they may drop their claws, which can be crafted into the scorpion gauntlet. This tool increases your reach as long as you hold it in one of your hands.

Slasher

These frightening bipedal creatures wield massive, sabre-like claws at the ends of their long arms. They are very fast, and attack in bursts of three quick slashes in a pattern unlike other mobs. When killed they can drop their claws, which can be used to make a bone kukri. They are found in spore forests and drip stone caves; they are not very common.

Bruise

Terrifying, elusive beasts found rarely within the spore forest, they walk on their knuckles and are visibly muscular, with bruises across their bodies. They pummel mobs using their great fists, with so much force it throws them across caves; These strikes are enough to instantly kill people in full iron armor. Bruises have the unique ability to summon their own minions to sic onto attackers; After being attacked three times, they will begin brooding for a short period, signified by a swirling red glow. If they are attacked while they are brooding they will summon a Hemophyter.

Hemophyter

These eerie, ghost-like entities float above the bruise after it summons them. they aid them in their beatings by flying over to places that the bruise cant reach, such as on pillars or through small gaps. They are very effective at disorientating enemies by being small and taking attention away from the bruise; though by themselves they are not particularly threatening. While they are similar to vexes, they cannot fly through solid walls. They do not drop exp or items.

Bruises may drop Brute cells when killed, they currently do not have a use.

Bruises are aggressive creatures, and are immediately hostile to most bipedal creatures. Beware! they are very fast when they spot you, if you hear heavy footsteps or the sounds of a beating, run!!!

Blocks

Rose Gold

you can take gold and copper ingots to make rose gold! It is a lustrous pink alloy that can be made into building blocks like copper, or used to trim armor

Cast iron

by smelting iron ingots, you can craft cast iron. It is a dark, durable material which can be used to make building blocks
