# Impossiblecore: Making Hardcore Better
Impossiblecore adds new features to enhance your hardcore survival experience. These new features can make survival easier, or more difficult for the player. Some new additions include
- New potion mixins that can create potions with multiple effects!
- New infinte food items!
- New helpful and harmful effects!
- New helpful and harmful enchantments!
- New hardcore medallion items which are used to trade with the new Specialist villager type!
- New Strobe Rocket projectiles that explode upon impact with mobs!
- New Nexus material, allowing one to craft or find gear stronger than Netherite!
Customizability and Configuration
Almost every mechanic of Impossiblecore can be configured or customized with in-game game rules, editable tags, and loot tables to allow for a personalized experience. These tags and game rules are documented on the mods work in progress wiki page.
Exclusive Holiday Features
Impossiblecore will feature several exclusive cosmetic changes on Halloween and Christmas. These changes include texture and sound changes for certain mechanics and features inside the mod.
