TSmod (TS-BBF)

TSmod is a balancing mod for Minecraft Forge designed to elevate the challenge and fairness of Boss encounters. It prevents "zerg tactics" (overwhelming bosses with numbers) and ensures a focused combat environment by eliminating interference from surrounding mobs and introducing a high-stakes respawn mechanic.

🌟 Core Features

1. Dynamic Combat Tracking

Automatically identifies Boss encounters and tracks all participants, including players and their summoned minions. This ensures the mod knows exactly who is part of the "raid."

2. Death Penalty Healing

When a participant falls, the Boss recovers health based on the "weight" of the deceased:

• Players: 1.0 weight (High impact)

• Minions: 0.1 weight (Prevents minion spamming as a meat shield)

3. Battlefield Purification

During combat, the mod suppresses natural mob spawns and monster spawner activity within the vicinity, ensuring the integrity of the duel.

4. Campfire Respawn System

A tactical, temporary respawn mechanism for front-line operations:

• Temporary Binding: Right-click a lit campfire to set a temporary spawn point. If the campfire is extinguished or broken, you revert to your original bed/spawn.

• Purge Shockwave: Upon respawning, the campfire releases a physical pulse that repels and teleports all nearby hostile mobs (non-bosses) outside a 16-block radius.

• Vulnerability & Recovery: Players respawn with only 1 Health (Half a heart) but gain Regeneration II while standing within 8 blocks of the campfire.

• Spatial Cooldown: Campfires require 60s to stabilize after being placed or ignited. Triggering a shockwave puts all campfires within 24 blocks on shared cooldown.

• Boss Suppression: If a Boss is within the campfire's radius during respawn, the campfire is instantly extinguished by the Boss's aura, and the player is sent back to their original spawn point.

• Special Weapon: Maybe it needs some fresh blood...

🛠️ Configuration

TSmod is highly customizable via tsm-common.toml. You can adjust:

• Healing Ratios: Fine-tune how much Bosses heal upon player/minion death.

• Detection Radii: Set the range for boss tracking and mob suppression.

• Campfire Mechanics: Adjust purge radius, cooldown durations, and regeneration range ect.
