I made this mod because I really miss the old Minecraft Beta feeling. It replaces all player skins with classic Steve and brings back that simple, nostalgic vibe.
The mod is fully client-side and configurable, so you can switch styles or adjust how it works if you want.
This mod works by overriding player skin textures on the client, forcing all players to appear as Steve regardless of their actual skin. It also allows you to choose between different classic variants and control the model style through the config menu.
The idea for this mod was inspired by the Default Skin mod, but I wanted to create my own version with more flexibility, cleaner behavior, and proper support for newer Minecraft versions. This mod focuses on simplicity, configurability, and preserving the original Beta-like experience.
If you just want everyone to look like classic Steve again — this is for you.
