HammerBan is a lightweight, competitive death-management mod designed for SMPs that want consequences without the permanent loss of a Hardcore world. Using a Quadratic Scaling Formula, the more you die, the longer you stay out.

Three Death Categories: Separate tracking for PvP, Hostile Mobs, and Natural Deaths.
Quadratic Scaling: Deaths start with minor 2-15 minute timeouts but scale up to 48-hour bans for frequent flyers.
3-Day IRL Cycle: All death stats automatically reset every 72 hours, giving everyone a fresh start and a reason to return.
Zero-Bloat Storage: Uses Minecraft's native Scoreboard system. No extra files, no databases, and zero impact on server performance.
Admin Control: Simple /hammerban reset command for OPs to show mercy or manage events.
• There also is a /hammerban stats to see your stats.

There are three types of death, and for each there is a formula, and a hard cap.
Natural: 2+(x^2*2) | Max: 4h
Hostile: 5+(x^2*5) | Max: 12h
PvP: 15*x^2 | Max: 48h

Players receive a 2-second "grace period" after death—long enough to not create any bugs before being disconnected with a custom kick screen.
Built for 1.21.8 (Mojang Mappings). Requires Fabric API.
Roadmap
Initial Version - 1.0
This is pretty basic version, it has some ups and down and marks the beginning !
**Current Version - 1.1 ** **Changelog : ** Added a delay because I noticed that when it disconnects and ban you, it is faster than mods that ban you for Disconnecting when in combat. Basically just making you die twice, somehow.
Also added the /hammerban reset command.
** Upcomoing... **
I will be adding a** system of Discord bot**, that will show a message when someone dies and is banned, for how long, when and why.
Depending on user reviews, I'll be adding other things such as a "bounty" system (users with the least deaths have a glowing effects, and rewards are given when they are killed).
