This is for those who dream of soaring through the sky and swinging across the terrain. I present, the 3D Maneuver Gear plugin!
What does it do?
This plugin adds the 3D Maneuver Gear from the anime Attack on Titan to Minecraft. It allows you to shoot a cable from your left and right side, which can attach to surfaces. You can pull these cables in, which allows maximum mobility.
How does it work?
To make the 3D Maneuver Gear, you need 'Rope'. Rope can be crafted, just like the 3DMG. (See recipes lower on this page).
Once you've crafted the 3DMG simply take it in your active slot. Then either left or right click to launch the respective cable. To pull yourself towards the cables, simply sneak (Default left-shift). This is only possible if the cable(s) are attached to a surface. If you have both cables in use, you'll pull yourself to the midpoint of the cables.
If you come close to the end of a cable and you're not sneaking, the cable will be removed. If the 3DMG item is no longer in your active slot, all active cables will dissapear.
Note that players are able to go in a different direction than the hook's, but only slightly. If the distance between the player's target location and the hook is more than 2.5 blocks, the player will fly towards the launched hooks. If it's less than 2.5 blocks, the player will fly in their own direction. This allows a player to 'swing', and this way you're able to, for example, land on top of the block your hook is attached to, instead of fly against it.

Permissions
Everyone has access to this permission by default. Removing it makes the player unable to use the 3D Maneuver Gear.
Allows someone to use /3dmg. OP by default.
Allows someone to use /3dmg on other people. OP by default.

To-Do List
- Add a gas tank feature
- This means you'll have a gas output on your back, allowing you to fly in other directions than the cable's.
- Add support for older versions
- 1.9 and 1.10 in particular (maybe 1.8 and perhaps even 1.7,but I highly doubt those)
- Multiple languages support
