
Stellarnova
My first mod, currently only adds a few blocks and items but hopefully will get more refined and in depth in time :)
⬇ Download on ModrinthSupernova is a mod I decided to make because I wanted to learn how to mod, which I've been trying for years but always ran into issues with Gradle.
At the time of creating the project, the mod adds a tool and some blocks, as well as some proof of concept stuff. Hopefully though I will refine these systems and expand further, with the end goal of creating a mod with items to help with all stages of the game, as well as challenging mobs and bosses and methods to automate resource creation.
The tool is called the Starseer Breaker, and mines a 3x3x3 cube centered around the block you right click on - this is intended to be changed to mine a 3x3x1 area instead, when I learn how to do this following the direction.
There is also a transmutation system that currently has very limited use - to turn apples or skeleton skulls into nova apples, which give luck for a short period, and gives a bone when eaten. Skeleton skulls consume the charge of the transmutation block, called starseer essence, and can be recharged with a nova ingot.
Starseer essence can be made using the starseer eye, which is craftable.
