What is this mod?
This mod adds the Soul Lamp, a legendary trinket that will allow you to harness the souls of your enemies for battle.
What all does this mod add?
This mod adds one item (the soul lamp ofc), when held any mob you kill will add 1 "charge" to the lamp, you can later right click with the lamp to consume a charge and summon a ghost, these ghosts will fight for you, and have a much more aggressive AI then something like wolves, with various targeting modes for even more control.
Wait ghosts? So cool!
These ghosts have some special properties: 1. They can fly through walls, 2. They are invisible to anyone not targeted by them / controlling them, and 3. Mobs they kill can be used to recharge your soul lamp even more.
Warnings?
While this mod is very much functional, it was never intended to exist, so there is no crafting recipe for the soul lamp, potential balancing issues, and I doubt I'll be adding to it.
But wait there's more!
The ghosts and soul lamp were both taken from the main mod: Ancient Trinkets, which is a mod about adding many different trinkets along with a dynamic questing system, so if you like the idea of the soul lamp (or the idea of trinkets / questing in general) then you might want to check it out.
Why did you make a standalone mod for this trinket?
Because someone wanted it, and it's trivial to cut away the rest of the mod resulting in something standalone like this.
