Alchemist Chalks adds one simple item, the Alchemist Chalk, crafted with two redstone dust and one bone meal, allowing you to make a transmutation circle which has 3 modes: Chrysopoeia, Deconstruction, and Purification. You can switch modes by right-clicking the circle with the alchemist chalk in your main hand.
Chrysopoeia Circle: The Chrysopoeia Circle allows you to convert valuable materials like lapsie and iron into even rarer materials like gold, emeralds, and diamonds. To activate the circle, either give away 3 XP levels or 3 hearts.

Deconstruction Circle: The Deconstruction Circle allows you to break down complex items into simpler, more useful components. It’s especially handy for turning crafted goods, mob drops, or rare finds back into their base materials (uncraft). To activate the circle, either sacrifice 3 XP levels or 3 hearts.
Rule: Any item not at full durability or enchanted will not be deconstructed.

Purification Circle: The Purification Circle enables you to remove any curse on your items for a price—either spare 10 levels or get a curse with the Curse of Equivalent Exchange, which will cause a random, horrible event to happen to the player. Most of these events will lead to your death (so if you play in hardcore mode, I don't recommend it). There are seven different possible outcomes with different chances of happening, each involving a curse for a curse. Additionally, if you try drinking milk while the potion effect is active, you will die.
