Doomful is currently available for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 Forge. No library mod is required.

Doomful is a mod that reworks Smite, Bane of Arthropods, and Impaling enchantments. The mod disables those enchantments (can be re-enabled in the 1.20.1 version) and adds artifact and relic items that grant weapons the same functionality. Every artifact or relic can be applied to every weapon. There are also relics that increase damage against mobs like pigs, illagers, etc.
The mod is also highly configurable.
