Steel Age introduces steel. greatsteel, and nethersteel armor and tool sets to Minecraft. Each armor is meant to be an evolution of the previous set, while steel is an evolution of the iron set. use iron ingots and either coal or charcoal to craft steel armor, which has the same stats as diamond armor, one set of steel armor requires 86 iron ingots, so don't think its free diamond armor. all crafting recipes can be found by unlocking the previous armor set, steel recipes are revealed by learning iron, greatsteel by steel, and nethersteel by greatsteel.
Donate to see future projects like, Steel for Monsters (a not so vanilla plus continuation of steel age with mobs and possible new structures coming soon). and eventually an entire modpack built around mobs and armors inspired by lord of the rings and dark souls. https://patreon.com/ChaoticJib?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLink
