StarterKits is a highly configurable starter kit system for Forge and NeoForge servers, designed to provide players with engaging, flexible, and fully customizable ways to receive kits throughout their gameplay—not just when they first join.

Whether you're running a survival server, RPG, factions, skyblock, or adventure experience, StarterKits gives server owners complete control over how, when, and who can claim kits.

• Create unlimited custom starter kits.

🎲 Random Kit Rolling

Players can:

• Choose a specific kit.
• Roll a completely random kit.
• Use weighted probabilities so rarer kits are harder to obtain.
• Restrict random selection to only kits the player is allowed to receive.

Optional configuration allows right-clicking the selector to instantly roll without opening the GUI.

⚙️ Flexible Claim Rules

Choose exactly when kits are awarded:

• First Join
• Always
• On Death
• On Death (Only if never previously claimed)
• Unlimited claiming
• Limited usage kits

You can also configure whether selectors are consumed after use or preserved.

🔥 Hot Reloading

Most configuration and kit changes can be reloaded without restarting the server.

Players automatically receive updated kit information whenever kits are modified, making balancing and editing much faster during development or live server administration.

Because of the way starter kits works the only possible way to get a kit selector other than the automatic ways is through the get_selector command. There is a kit selector item in the creative menu but it's mostly useless. I'm planning to fix this later...

⚠️ Updating

StarterKits automatically upgrades older kit formats whenever possible.

Although the migration system is designed to preserve existing data, backing up your world and configuration before updating is always recommended.
