The mod made the Landing Water not as useful as it in vanilla. It will calculate the damage scientifically to hurt the creatures, not only the players.

Does hitting water really mean you are safe? In reality, high-velocity water impacts can cause serious injury or even be fatal. This mod removes vanilla mechanic that grants full fall damage immunity when landing in water. Now, jumping off cliffs, buildings, or End towers into a pool will not save you from falling down. For players who crave realism and challenge!
