Wand Of Translocation
A small utility mod that adds a Wand of Translocation which allows you to move, split, and recombine chests and barrels without having to empty them first.

This is a remake of a mod I made for Minecraft 1.2 back in 2012, updated to Minecraft 1.21.4, using Fabric.
You can create the Wand of Translocation with two iron ingots and one ender pearl (see the gallery image of the crafting recipe).
You shift+right-click the chest or barrel that you want to store, and you either right-click or shift+right-click the block that you want the chest or barrel to BE ON TOP OF.
When placing stored chests or barrels, right-click to place normally so that chests will merge with other chests nearby, however you can shift+right-click to not merge the placed chest with any others.
All data is stored as components on the item, so the data is safe when you log out. You can even put wands inside chests and then store that chest within a wand for recursive storage.
It goes without saying that using mods that deal with changing and moving inventories has an inherent risk that you must assume as a user. This mod has not been super extensively tested. Despite me never experiencing data (item) loss, there is no way to rule it out. Please use this mod at your own risk.
