About

Overworld Reforged is a mod that aims to add uses for previously useless or quickly discarded items. No longer will your iron armor be thrown into fire once you get your first diamonds.

The content added tries to be complimentary to existing vanilla content and not overshadow it while expanding on available options and progression.

Content

• Mallets : break multiple blocks at once in a straight line
• Hammers : break blocks in a 3x3 area
• Overthium : an upgrade to iron on the same power level as diamond. Works the same way as netherite does to diamonds

Getting started

Mallets can be crafted for all vanilla and Overworld Reforged tool tiers as shown in the gallery.
Hammers are upgrades of mallets. Be careful of being fatigued when using them for extended periods of time.
The endurance enchantment will help mitigating that.

Overthium is found hidden in stratite, a new stone generating in patches in the underground. Break it with a hammer or mallet by right clicking on it to reveal a stagnant crystal if you are lucky.
By revitalizing it with a moss catalyst, crafted with 3 bone meal and 1 moss, you can then break it to obtain overthium shards.
4 shards combined with 4 iron ingots give an overthium ingot that can be smithed onto iron gear.

Both overthium smithing and hammer smithing require a respective template found in most underground chests and well as certain village ones.
