I Wanna The End Alone
I Wanna The End... Alone... is a lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that reworks how the "The End... Again..." (respawning the Ender Dragon) advancement is awarded.
📖 What does it do?
In vanilla Minecraft, whenever the Ender Dragon is respawned using End Crystals, every single player currently in the End dimension receives the advancement. This often leads to "achievement leaching," where players stand around doing nothing while one person does all the work.
This mod changes that logic to be participation-based:
- Only contributors receive the advancement.
- A "contributor" is defined as any player who manually placed at least one of the four End Crystals used for the ritual.
- If you help by placing 1 crystal, you get the credit. If you just watch, you get nothing.
✨ Features
- Fair Rewards: Supports teamwork! If four different players each place one crystal, all four will receive the advancement.
- Anti-Leech: Players idling near the portal will no longer automatically "complete" the task.
- Vanilla Feel: Does not change any other dragon fight mechanics; it only tweaks the advancement trigger logic.
- Server-Side: This mod only needs to be installed on the server.
