Thanatos Echo is a hardcore horror mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that reimagines death and survival. It transforms low health into a deep psychological thriller, where your greatest enemy isn't monsters, but your primal fear.
Panic State (Health < 35%) As your life force depletes, your mind becomes clouded.
Tunnel Vision: Your FOV changes, causing you to lose your bearings.
Auditory Hallucinations: You hear a growing heartbeat and frightening sounds: footsteps behind you, whispers, and the echo of your own name.
Healing Lockout: While in a panic state, your body's regeneration is disabled. Fear literally prevents you from licking your wounds.
Agony State (Health < 15%) This is the line between life and death. The body stops obeying:
Paralysis: The resource character sits on the ground (Shift) and gains the advantage of building and jumping.
Tremor: The camera begins to shake violently, simulating shock.
Stupor: Your interaction speed with the world drops to zero—you cannot break blocks until you recover.
Trembling Hands: There's a 15% chance you'll drop the item you're holding.
Soul Trauma__** Death in Echoes of Thanatos has long-term consequences. Each death irreparably damages your actions:
You respawn with your maximum health intact (-1 heart per death).
**
SpoilerThe lower your health, the faster you'll panic the next time.
