ChaosSwap is a Fabric mod that randomly swaps your position with a nearby mob every 40–60 seconds, creating unpredictable and chaotic gameplay. You can be mining one moment and suddenly find yourself in a completely different situation.
Features
Random player and mob position swapping
Configurable interval (default 40–60 seconds)
100 block swap radius
Optional effects such as warning message, blindness, and sounds
Smart Teleporting
The mod includes logic to improve teleport safety and consistency:
If the player is on the surface, swaps will prioritize surface mobs
If the player is underground, swaps will prioritize cave mobs
Repeated cave swaps will eventually send the player back to the surface
Configuration
The mod is fully customizable through the config folder.
You can edit the file:
config/chaos_swap.json
From there, you can enable or disable features like:
- Warning message
- Blindness effect
- Sounds
- Swap timing and radius
Disabling all effects will result in instant teleportation.

- How to install: Install the matching mod loader (Forge, Fabric or NeoForge) for your Minecraft version. → Download the .jar. → Put it in the .minecraft/mods folder and launch that loader profile.
