⬇ Download on ModrinthCosmorph is a lightweight Fabric client-side mod that lets players customize item names and models directly in-game. It provides a simple way to personalize items, making it ideal for visual tweaks, roleplay, or better inventory organization. All changes are client-side, so they don’t affect gameplay mechanics or other players unless they’re using the same configuration.
Currently, Cosmorph identifies customized items using a UUID stored in the custom_data component. This UUID acts as a unique identifier, allowing the mod to correctly apply custom names and models to specific items. While this system ensures reliable mapping between items and their visual overrides, it also means each item must be assigned a UUID for the customization to take effect.
